Compared to the overall inflation rate of 1.66% during this same period, car parts inflation was lower.
In the year 2009: Pricing changed by 4.12%, significantly above the average yearly change for car parts during the 2009-2017 time period. Compared to overall inflation for all items in 2009 (-0.36%), price inflation for car parts was much higher.
